Introductions around the table.

Minutes: November 2, 2005 - Approved as printed.

Treasurer's Report: Paul Brockmeyer - Approved as presented. Current balance is $2885.42

Program: Tom Engle from Duckett gave a very interesting and informative presentation as to where their current waste treatment facilities in St. Charles are located and proposed plans for expansion. They currently have a tentative agreement with the City of Foristell to develop and operate a membrane waste treatment plant south of the City on Highway T on the south side of the bridge over Peruque Creek. It is an isolated area. Kienstra Development is donating the land to the City for the plant. The plan is to start with a 150,000 gallon plant which is designed to add an additional 150,000 gallon plant as needed. The plant will be in a 60' x 100' garage type building which will actually hide the treatment plant from sight. There will not be any odor present. Once construction is approved, it will take approximately 12 to 18 months to complete the plant.

Old Business: A reminder by Tim that February 2, 2006 is the Day at the Capitol sponsored by the St. Charles League of Chambers. Transportation will be furnished. Pick up location is not yet known. Contact Tim Nash at 636-745-3337, or Larry Shroth at 636-639-8211 if you are interested in attending.

New Business: Tim asked the members what kind of speakers we are interested in having at future meetings. These were mentioned: Dr. Byrnes - District Superintendent of the Wentzville School District, Dr. Mark Porter - District Superintendent of the Wright City School Distinct, update from the City of Foristell, Developers, Water District #2, MODOT , update on the Chamber web site - Chris McAmis, St. Charles County Clerk/Election - Rich Crismer to talk about the new voting machines. Suggestions on how to increase membership are welcome. The 2006 Budget will be presented at our February meeting.

The next meeting of the Chamber will be held on February 1, 2006 at Ruggeri's Ristorante at 12:00 noon. The speaker will be Dr. Mark Porter, District Superintendent of the Wright City School District.

Meeting adjourned at 1:05 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Ray Alexander, Secretar
